The policy for One-Act CREW is one absence of either type.

Beyond this point, students will be dropped from the cast/crew as necessary.

An excused absence is considered when I have knowledge of it more than 24 hours in advance. Please contact me as soon as you are aware of an impending absence. Anything else is considered an unexcused absence. Missed days from school are a vague point here and will be determined based upon the circumstances and conditions surrounding the school absence. Sick days (in particular) will be counted as excused absences due to the district policy on extra-curricular participation on days missed from school.

Winter weather may cause us to cancel a scheduled rehearsal. Cancelled rehearsals will not count toward the absences. If the weather is questionable and a student/parent feels it necessary for a student to miss a rehearsal, it may be considered an excused or exempt absence, depending upon the situation. These absences will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
